Each home is designed to incorporate best practice guidance for supporting adults with Autism and a learning disability.
Supported Living
Our Supported living services provide the people we support with more independence, choice, and control in their life.Supported living has no legal definition but has a commonly accepted set of principles that are defined in the ‘Reach Standards’.
The cornerstone of supported living is people live in their ‘own home’, in some cases by ownership but in most cases by way of a legal tenancy with a housing provider, which is provided in an easy read format and is in line with the NDTI ‘real tenancy test’.
As the ‘support provider’ we are responsible for a person’s care and support, which in our supported living services is, 24 hours a day, it can include multiple staff and is regulated by the Care Quality Commission.
Accommodation is provided by our large network of housing provides, who we work in partnership with to ensure a person’s accommodation is of high quality.
