Service Manager: Supported Living
Simon Kenyon
With a rich history spanning thirty-two years in the Health and Social Care sector, my dedication to this field is unwavering. I am fueled by a genuine passion for the sector, aspiring to contribute further to its growth while aiding each individual we support in reaching their fullest potential.
Throughout my extensive career, I have had the privilege of working with remarkable individuals, providing support to those with diverse diagnoses, predominantly focusing on learning disabilities and/or autism. Witnessing the positive transformations in their skills, behavior, and communication brings me immense satisfaction.
My particular passion lies in observing individuals develop new skills and enhance their independence through the implementation of personalised packages in Supported Living. Despite my extensive experience, I am committed to continuous learning, acquiring new skills that contribute to the growth of both our staff and the individuals we support. This commitment is reflected in my ongoing pursuit of knowledge and skills as part of my Continued Professional Development (CPD).
Being a member of the Cedar Health and Wellbeing Team fills me with pride, and I am genuinely grateful for the enriching experiences it has provided me. Beyond the professional realm, I find joy in spending quality time with my family, sharing moments with my grandchildren at football matches and outings. Football, Cricket, and Tennis are my primary sports interests, and I make an effort to attend games and events whenever possible. Additionally, I have a diverse taste in music and often indulge in attending music events and concerts.
