Noel Murphy

Noel joined Cedar Health and Wellbeing in December 2023, bringing over 21 years of experience in education and support roles. He began his career as a primary teacher across Early Years and Key Stages 1 and 2, later assisting unemployed adults in securing jobs through Functional Skills English and Maths courses. Transitioning to a support worker role, Noel spent three years as a Senior Support Worker in a residential home for adults with Autism and related disabilities, where he also began training new support staff.

Prior to joining Cedar Health and Wellbeing, he worked as a Support, Time and Recovery worker on a Psychiatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) in an NHS Trust, enhancing his understanding of mental health and patient reintegration into the community. Noel is dedicated to helping individuals reach their full potential and improving their quality of life through effective training for support workers.

Outside of work, he values family time and enjoys live sports and watching games on television. He has a passion for gardening, particularly growing food and finds relaxation in reading crime novels. Noel's diverse background and commitment to personal and professional development make him a vital asset to the Cedar Health and Wellbeing team.
