Deputy Manager Wellington Road

Muiz Adewuyi

Muiz began his career in the adult social care sector as a Care Assistant before progressing into roles supporting individuals with autism, learning disabilities, mental health needs, and complex behaviours across residential and supported living services. From the outset, he demonstrated a strong commitment to person-centred care, safeguarding, and empowering individuals to achieve greater independence and improved quality of life.

His career has developed through a series of increasingly responsible positions, culminating in his current role as Deputy Manager at Cedar Health and Wellbeing. Having progressed from Support Worker to Senior Support Worker and then Deputy Manager, Muiz now leads multidisciplinary teams, oversees the day-to-day operation of the service, and plays a pivotal role in maintaining high standards of CQC compliance through effective auditing, governance, and quality assurance processes. He is particularly passionate about supporting individuals to re-engage with their communities and successfully transition towards more independent living.

Committed to continuous professional development, Muiz holds a CMI Level 3 Certificate in Management and Leadership and is currently working towards the Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Adult Care. His long-term ambition is to become a Registered Manager, leading services that consistently deliver safe, effective, compassionate, and outstanding care.

Outside of his professional responsibilities, Muiz values spending quality time with family and friends, investing in personal development, and pursuing business and leadership opportunities that further strengthen his professional and personal growth.
