Leonna Cowburn

Leonna began her journey in the adult care sector seven years ago, dedicating herself to supporting individuals with epilepsy and learning disabilities. For her, the work was about more than just providing care—it was about forming meaningful relationships, offering steadfast support, and driving positive change in the lives of those she served.

Her career path led her to Cedar Health and Wellbeing, where she started as a support worker, assisting residents with learning disabilities and autism. It was during this time that Leonna discovered her true passion for the sector. Her dedication quickly earned her a promotion to Senior, followed by a Team Leader role in Supported Living. She later advanced to Deputy Manager at Grey Gables, where she continues to grow and develop in her leadership role.

Leonna is committed to expanding her knowledge and expertise, with a strong desire to learn and improve. Although she has recently stepped into a managerial position, her long-term goal is to mentor others in delivering high-quality, respectful individualised care.

Outside of work, Leonna is a family-focused person who enjoys spending time with her loved ones. She also shares a special bond with her dogs and two horses, who bring joy and balance to her life.
