Lauren Matcham

Lauren is the Deputy Manager at Stoneleigh, with a strong passion for delivering high-quality care and supporting both residents and staff to achieve the best possible outcomes.

Lauren began her career in the health and social care sector in 2022 as a Care Assistant. Through dedication, hard work, and a commitment to continuous learning, she quickly progressed to the role of Senior Support Worker. Along the way, she has developed her knowledge by learning from experienced colleagues and embracing every opportunity to grow professionally.

Lauren holds an NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care, along with a Certificate of Specialisation in Dementia and Elderly Adult Care. She is committed to lifelong learning and plans to continue her professional development by completing further qualifications. Lauren believes there is always more to learn and is determined to keep progressing throughout her career.

Taking on the role of Deputy Manager has allowed Lauren to strengthen her leadership skills, expand her knowledge, and further develop her ability to mentor and support others. She is passionate about creating a positive, person-centred environment where both residents and colleagues feel valued, respected, and empowered.

Lauren's ambition is to continue developing as a leader within the care sector, making a meaningful difference to the lives of those she supports while inspiring others to achieve their full potential.

Outside of work, Lauren enjoys spending quality time with her family and travelling to different countries, embracing new cultures and experiences whenever she has the opportunity
