Karla Broxton

Karla has over 15 years of experience supporting individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), learning disabilities, Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, and Profound and Multiple Learning Disabilities (PMLD). She is deeply passionate about enabling people to live meaningful, independent, and fulfilling lives.

Throughout her career, Karla has worked across a wide range of support settings, building strong and collaborative relationships with individuals, families, and multidisciplinary professionals to achieve positive and lasting outcomes. Her practice is rooted in person-centred values, ensuring that each individual’s needs, preferences, and aspirations are at the heart of the support provided.

Karla holds a Diploma in Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) and has previously worked as a PBS Coach, where she supported teams to develop effective, compassionate, and person-centred approaches. She is committed to promoting dignity, wellbeing, and quality of life, while actively working to reduce restrictive practices.

With a strong focus on understanding behaviour through empathy and evidence-based strategies, Karla is dedicated to empowering both individuals and support teams. She strives to foster environments where people feel valued, respected, and supported to reach their full potential.
