Gelareh Lak

Gelareh is a Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) practitioner with a robust background in behavioural and mental health. She specialises in Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapy and Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA), having gained extensive experience in Canada as a Vice-Director and Senior Behaviour Therapist. Since relocating to the UK, Gelareh has expanded her application of ABA and integrated Cognitive Behavioural Therapy principles to assist young people, adults and families facing trauma and mental health challenges. She is an accredited member of the British Association of Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapies, driven by a passion for helping others overcome behavioural and psychological obstacles, to enhance their quality of life.

At Cedar Health and Wellbeing, Gelareh is dedicated to collaborating with her colleagues and supporting residents, taking pride in the team's shared commitment to improving lives. Outside of work, she enjoys traveling, dancing, cooking and sharing meals with her small but wonderful family. Gelareh's diverse expertise and enthusiasm for her work make her a valuable asset to the Cedar Health and Wellbeing community.
